Every year Russian Ministry of Education and Science offers scholarship in Nuclear Energy and Science for Bangladeshi Students.Bangladeshi students who have received a brilliant opportunity to study Nuclear Engineering with full scholarship in Russia.Every year more than 10 students gets this opportunity.Human Resources Department of Russia’s state nuclear corporation- Rosatom, Corporate Academy of Rosatom and Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) organised a competitive test for the candidates at BAEC premises in Dhaka recently. About 500 students sat for the examination in Physics and Mathematics for pre-graduate scholarship, while 60 graduates had gone through tests in their professional subjects and Mathematics.
Experts from National Research Nuclear University (MEPhI) in Moscow, university partner of Rosatom and experts of BAEC will evaluate the answer scripts and select candidates for viva-voice.After completing viva-voice BAEC will notice the selected candidates name in BAEC Website.
To develop nuclear energy in Bangladesh and Bangladeshi nuclear specialists for the upcoming Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant(NPP) Russia has undertaken this responsibility.
